BSc. in Career Development

The Bachelor of Science in Career Development is a comprehensive programme designed to provide participants with the competencies to be agents of change as they facilitate the career development process of children, adolescents, and adults.  Participants will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to understand and apply the theoretical foundations that underpin career development practices.

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirement 5 CXC/CSEC (or equivalent) passes at the General Proficiency level grades 1 and 2 (grades 3 as of June 1998).  Passes should include English A and Mathematics.  NB* Holders of a diploma in education, social work, health related areas , career development or other tertiary qualifications deemed acceptable by the Academic Board of the Vocational Training Development Institute are eligible for entry to the programme.

The programme is offered on a full time and part time basis on the main campus of the VTDI, which is located at Gordon Town Road, Kingston 6
